Trust is the foundation of every client relationship I build. For that reason, transparency matters—especially when it comes to protecting clients and the public from fraud and identity theft.
I am writing to make clients and the public aware of an email impersonation issue involving my business name and identity.
What’s Happening with Email Impersonation?
An individual—or individuals—are sending emails to my clients while pretending to be me, Daniel Smith, founder of Dream Digital Images, LLC. These messages do not originate from my official business email address.
The fraudulent email addresses being used include:
These addresses are not owned, operated, or authorized by Dream Digital Images, LLC.
And to the person(s) doing this, I take this very seriously. Law Enforcement has already caught someone previously in another incident and I am relentless in going after you.
My Official Email Policy
I only communicate with clients from email addresses ending in:
Any email claiming to represent Dream Digital Images that does not come from this domain should be treated as fraudulent.
Why This Matters
Email impersonation is a form of identity theft and wire fraud. These scams are designed to:
• Mislead clients
• Interfere with legitimate business relationships
• Cause financial or reputational harm
Unfortunately, this type of fraud has become increasingly common across many industries.
What I’m Doing
I am actively addressing this issue by taking the following steps:
• I have an open investigation with local law enforcement
• I am working directly with email service providers to address impersonation
• I have implemented advanced email authentication measures to prevent spoofing
• I am preserving evidence to ensure accountability
What You Can Do
If you receive an email claiming to be from Dream Digital Images:
Carefully check the sender’s email address
Do not reply, click links, or send payments
Forward the message to daniel@dreamdigitalimages.com
Delete the email after reporting it
My Commitment
Protecting my clients is not optional—it is essential. I take this matter seriously and appreciate your vigilance and continued trust while I work to fully resolve the issue.
If you ever have questions about a message you receive, please contact me directly through my website or my verified email address.
